Dr. Grier attended the University of Regina (BA ‘74) prior to Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (D.C. ‘78). He continued his education a few years later at the University of Saskatchewan (M.B.A. ‘92). He has maintained a chiropractic practice in Saskatoon since 1978. Dr. Grier also works as a consultant for Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board. He has privileges to treat patients in Saskatoon Health District facilities. He is a Life Member of the Chiropractors Association of Saskatchewan.

At SMRC, Dr. Grier maintains a primary level practice, and as well, participates in a team management approach to assessment and treatment of patients who were injured at work or in motor vehicle accidents.

Dr. Grier served his profession, in many arenas including the Board of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (1983-1990), the Board of the Chiropractors’ Association of Saskatchewan 1992-2002, serving both as registrar and president, and as a Member of the Advisory Board of The Bone and Joint Decade 2000- 2010 Task Force on Neck Pain and its Associated Disorders. (2001-2007) Dr. Grier is also active in his community, serving as a public member on the Discipline Committee of the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association. (2002-2008) He has served on the Finance Committee of St. Joseph’s Parish since 2000 and since 2010, as the treasurer of the Cecilian Singers, a community chamber choir.

Dr Grier has a particular interest in research into the efficacy of various interventions used in the management of musculoskeletal conditions as this relates to health care policy. He has had seven papers published in refereed journals.
